Summary of Responsibility:
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, working with numbers, and collaborating across departments? We're looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our growing parts distribution team. In this role, you'll play an essential part in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring financial transactions, inventory records, and vendor accounts are accurate and up to date.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our accounting, warehouse, and vendor partners while gaining valuable experience in inventory accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and operational finance. What You Will Contribute:
As our Accounting Clerk, you'll be a key contributor to the financial health and operational success of our business by:
Reviewing invoices, billing statements, and financial documents to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Reconciling supplier invoices against purchase orders, receiving records, and shipping documentation to verify pricing and inventory accuracy.
Processing high-volume accounts payable transactions and supporting timely vendor payments.
Generating customer invoices for shipped orders and supporting accounts receivable activities.
Creating purchase orders and maintaining accurate sales order information within our ERP system.
Reconciling vendor statements, credits, and intercompany transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Partnering with vendors and warehouse leadership to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, returns, damaged goods claims, and billing issues.
Maintaining organized financial records and supporting month-end accounting activities.
Assisting with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed.

Qualifications & Competencies:
· Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
· Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience, ideally within a distribution, wholesale, auto parts, or warehouse setting.
· Software: Experience with ERP/Inventory management software (e.g., D365, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume paperwork, sharp analytical skills for inventory tracking, and clear vendor communication.
