Summary of Responsibility:
Morris Group Inc is seeking an ambitious, diligent, and upbeat individual to join our growing organization as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). We are one of the top tier distributors of CNC machine tools in North America and have been in business for over 84 years. Our people are the backbone of our success which is driven by relationships and understanding our customers’ challenges.

This position is Onsite - Not Remote or Hybrid
What You Will Contribute:
The Sales Development Representative is the link between the Outside Sales team and the prospect. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for developing and generating a quality sales pipeline for the outside sales team.
- Regular interface and communication with assigned Sales Leaders and Outside Sales team members
- Research and pre-qualify potential new prospects
- Follow up on Warm Leads generated by the marketing team
- Identify key decision makers and update database list of contacts
- Leverage a best-in-class fully integrated tech stack to increase sales development efficiency
- Listening and uncovering potential opportunities for The Morris Company
- Provide accurate quotes to prospects and follow up on requests
- Deliver on Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics-KPI's) to get results

Qualifications & Competencies:
- BS/BA College Degree
- 1-2 years previous work experience in a customer-facing role (prior experience in an outbound call environment is not required, although preferred)
- Strong desire to learn and advance in a sales career
- Highly developed drive to achieve and exceed goals
- Passion for personal and professional growth; accepting of mentoring and other opportunities to develop

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 / annually
